Job Title: Production Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Production Director to lead our ice cream production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Key Performance Targets: Achieve operational performance targets, including safety, quality, productivity, volume, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale.
  • Drive Operational Improvements: Identify and address trends that could impact performance, and drive operational improvements necessary to achieve the annual operating plan.
  • Develop Employees: Develop employees through upskilling and reskilling programs, defining and managing training needs within the department.
  • Embed Lean Methodologies: Embed lean methodologies across the entire manufacturing value chain.
  • Maintain Industry Leadership: Optimize plant operations to maintain a leadership position in the industry and stay updated with latest manufacturing trends.
Requirements:Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science & Technology, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Dairy Science & Technology, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred: MBA, Lean Six Sigma, or Lean Practitioner certification.
Professional Skills:
  • Dairy Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in the dairy sector, particularly ice cream production. Must have held a managerial role such as Plant Manager (small facility) or Production Manager (large-scale facility).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office, ERP, and MES systems to optimize operations and productivity.
  • Leadership Experience: A seasoned professional with significant leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, demonstrating strategic management and operational excellence.
