Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of company projects, maintaining efficiency and operational excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic operational plans, implement them effectively, and monitor their execution.
- Financial Oversight: Manage and maintain the operational budget, ensuring sufficient allocation for all activities while monitoring costs, generating reports, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Expenditure Control: Monitor and control expenditures against approved budgets, reconciling variances to ensure financial performance remains on target.
- Workforce Optimization: Analyze workflows and assignments to optimize efficiency and resource utilization.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide the operations team, ensuring project objectives and organizational goals are met.
- Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between managers, supervisors, and operational teams to ensure a seamless flow of information.
- Performance Review: Review financial statements and data, leveraging insights to improve profitability and ensure sound financial management.
- Process Improvement: Enhance operational processes and policies to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with the scope of work, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, as well as Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
- Talent Management: Monitor employee and process performance, implementing improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Process Assessment: Conduct regular assessments of operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and driving the adoption of new standards and methodologies.
- Change Management: Manage and track changes to project scopes, providing recommendations and communicating updates to Project Account Managers.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of all operational functions.
- Industry Expertise: Stay updated with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise in the field.
- Talent Development: Oversee talent management activities, including recruitment, training, performance appraisals, professional development plans (PDPs), and employee coaching.
- Departmental Planning: Develop and implement department work plans, assign responsibilities, monitor workflows, and evaluate policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, studies, and analyses to support decision-making and highlight key operational trends to senior management.
- Client Retention: Direct project management activities related to client accounts, relationship management, communication, and client retention strategies.
- Quality Service: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services, maintaining superior client satisfaction levels.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation and monitor staff proficiency to maintain operational excellence.
- Employee Development: Identify employee training needs and recommend development initiatives to build a highly skilled and professional workforce.
- Regular Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Chief Operations Officer, summarizing regulatory activities, financial performance, and key operational challenges while offering strategic recommendations.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
