PMS Project Manager

This role is responsible for leading a team to support the client in managing the awarded EPC contract for the upgrade of a power station.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage EPC Contractor to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and QHSE requirements.
  • Coordinate the reporting of progress, performance, and resource allocation by the EPC Contractor.
  • Active oversight and management of construction and commissioning activities.
Key Relationships:
  • Internal Interface: The PMS Project Manager will report to the MEA PMC/PMS SL Director and interact with Penspen's project internal support team.
  • Client Interface: The PMS Project Manager will interact with the Client's Project Director and relevant personnel based at the power station.
Personal Competencies:
  • High level leadership skills to motivate and influence others to adopt company and project objectives.
  • Excellent ability to express self-confidently, clearly, fluently, concisely, and persuasively in spoken and written English.
Knowledge/Experience (Skills):
  • At least 25 years of prior project management and project engineering experience in FEED and EPC projects.
  • PMC experience at similar roles for several years is preferable.
Qualifications:
  • Educated to an engineering degree (minimum). Project Management certification is desirable.
