We are looking for a highly experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead our financial operations team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle Financials and experience in managing financial accounting activities.

About the Role:
  • Lead the financial accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth month-end closing activities.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for auditing financial transactions, preparing trial balances, and providing financial information and reports to external auditors.

Responsibilities:
  1. Audit reconciliation statements and reports to ensure compliance with stipulated timeframes and accuracy norms.
  2. Conduct monthly and yearly stock valuation audits to identify any discrepancies or issues.
  3. Audit intercompany transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  4. Prepare trial balances and provide financial information and reports to external auditors.
  5. Finalize GIT charges and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
  6. Process contractual payments and audit related transactions.
  7. Perform month-end review and audit transactions from all Oracle modules.
  8. Verify supplier claims and process outstanding payments.
  9. Monitor management credit card expenses.
  10. Audit insurance policies and claims.
  11. Maintain the General Ledger Chart of Accounts.
  12. Audit AP supplier master data.
  13. Verify month-end transactions from all sources, including MAC.
  14. Ensure efficient month-end closing processes and resolve related financial issues.
  15. Verify and audit month-end journal entries.
  16. Perform any additional duties assigned by the line supervisor.
  17. Participate in cross-training as mandated and act as an alternate for colleagues when requested by the manager.
  18. Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations while performing duties.
