Job Summary:

The Public Relations Coordinator provides administrative and tactical support for various PR and marketing activities and projects. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for communications. The coordinator will execute marketing strategies, including digital marketing, social media management, content creation, community engagement, and market research, to boost sales and revenues while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and global reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Agreements:
    • Secure new partnerships and negotiate strategic agreements that benefit the brand.
    • Draft and review contracts, working closely with the legal team to ensure legal accuracy.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with partners, securing new deals that align with brand objectives.
    • Develop media relations strategies tailored to each partner's area of expertise.
    • Manage all required documents in coordination with finance, creative, and administrative teams to ensure smooth execution of agreements and partnerships.
  • Event & Photoshoot Management:
    • Plan and execute events, ensuring smooth operations and brand alignment.
    • Organize local and international photoshoots, securing photographers and models in various locations.
    • Oversee on-ground logistics, ensuring seamless execution of shoots and events.
    • Manage vendor coordination, permits, and production schedules.
    • Handle all necessary documentation and financial coordination related to events and photoshoots.
  • Media Relations:
    • Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other media materials.
    • Monitor media coverage and track media mentions.
    • Assist with media outreach and follow-up.
    • Research media opportunities and trends.
  • Content Creation:
    • Draft and edit content for various platforms, including press releases, blog posts, social media, and website copy.
    • Translate content into Arabic to ensure language accessibility and engagement with Arabic-speaking audiences.
    • Oversee all digital content creation for brand marketing, training programs, and events.
    • Assist with the development of marketing materials.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the Creative Director, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
    • Assist with event planning and coordination.
    • Manage all required documentation in collaboration with finance, creative, and admin teams to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Execute management directives as required.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Build and promote the company's brands on social media platforms and sustain an engaged community through blogs, stories, and a solid online presence.
    • Create and manage all email, social media, and website content – including content for brand and vendor marketing, training programs, and events – in accordance with the approved marketing calendar.
    • Ensure that content on all platforms is up-to-date and reflects real-time data.
    • Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Foster relationships with existing members through community-building activities and events.
    • Respond to inquiries and comments on social media platforms and address customer concerns promptly and professionally by coordinating with the sales team.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and customer preferences.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and messaging.
    • Execute management directives when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Internship experience in public relations or communications is a plus.
  • Must communicate in fluent English and Arabic.
