You will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers to develop, test, and publish Ubuntu images used by millions in the cloud.

This role requires both technical and management skills to ensure optimal performance and security in cloud estates. You will work closely with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other cloud partners to optimize Ubuntu for their infrastructure.

As a leader, you will need to demonstrate sound engineering principles and directly contribute toward your team's goals. You will also set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, management, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and passionate about software development, has experience with agile development methodologies, and is fluent in Python or Golang. They should also have practical experience with at least one of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
