**Job Title:** Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee the upkeep of plant machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a focus on hands-on experience.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • They will supervise daily section functions, including maintenance, personnel utilization, disciplinary actions, health and safety, hygiene, and general housekeeping.
  • The maintenance supervisor will guarantee timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Address repair jobs and breakdowns, analyzing the root cause of problems.
  • Develop and implement suggestions for optimizing the preventive maintenance program and spare parts stock.
  • Recommend upgrades and improvements to existing equipment and implement approved changes.
  • Participate in upgrading and installing new equipment.
  • Oversee Maximo administrative tasks and ensure they are completed correctly and on time.
  • Update drawings and manuals as necessary.
  • Optimize manpower utilization within the section.
  • Meet staff training needs.
  • Attend scheduled meetings in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Provide support to colleagues from other sections when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with KDD's health and safety, lean, and sustainability practices, as well as State of Kuwait regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10 years of relevant hands-on experience.
