Security Supervisor for American University of Kuwait

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor to join our team at the American University of Kuwait. As a key member of our security department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring and Surveillance: You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, to detect and respond to any potential security threats or breaches.
- Incident Response and Emergency Management: In the event of an emergency or security incident, you will coordinate response efforts, notify relevant personnel or authorities, and provide accurate information for a timely and effective response.
- Communication and Coordination: You will maintain communication channels with security personnel, emergency services, and other stakeholders, coordinating security-related activities and sharing information with other departments or external agencies.
- Development and Implementation of Security Policies: You will ensure that security measures align with best practices and regulatory requirements, oversee enforcement of security policies, and educate employees on security awareness and compliance.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education or certification in security management is an advantage.
- Licenses and Certification: Relevant security licenses and certifications, such as First Aid/CPR, are required.
- Experience: Proven experience in a security-related role, with prior supervisory or control room experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in CCTV operations, monitoring systems, and incident reporting software, strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, and a clean criminal record.
