We are seeking a highly skilled Deep Drilling Operations Specialist to be based in Kuwait.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 per annum.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will operate and oversee drilling equipment on 3000HP deep drilling land rigs. This involves ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations by monitoring parameters and making necessary adjustments. The role requires close collaboration with the drilling team to ensure smooth rig operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain drilling equipment, including drawworks, mud pumps, and drilling systems.
  • Drilling Performance Optimization: Monitor drilling parameters, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot issues to optimize drilling performance.
  • Safety Management: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on safety in all drilling activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the drilling team to ensure smooth and efficient rig operations.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Complete daily drilling reports and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and safety incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a driller with mandatory experience in 3000HP and above in deep drilling land rig operations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical or vocational training in drilling operations preferred.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining 3000 HP drilling equipment.
  • A strong commitment to safety and leadership skills to lead by example.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with the drilling team.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of drilling equipment.
  • A willingness to work in a physically demanding and remote onshore environment.
  • Valid Well Control Certification (IWCF or IADC) and Safety training certifications (e.g., H2S, First Aid, Firefighting).
