Complex Audit Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced audit professional to join our team as a manager. As a manager, you will be responsible for leading complex audit engagements and supporting the growth of our audit business.

In this role, you will define the audit strategy in consultation with senior managers or partners and execute it in compliance with our policies and protocols. You will also lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on their size, and assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders.

You will establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships, ensuring that the work delivered to clients is of high quality. You will anticipate and identify risks, escalating them as necessary. As an influential member of the team, you will create a positive learning culture, coaching and counseling junior team members, and helping them develop through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, including a degree and accounting qualification, such as ACCA or CPA. They will also have at least seven years of professional experience in external audit, thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques, and experience managing teams. Additionally, they will have experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, risk-based audit processes, project management, and currently applicable and upcoming IFRS. They should also have knowledge of audit tools and data analytic tools, coaching, mentoring, and counseling experience, fluent English communication skills, and effective presentation skills.
