Hydrocarbon Metering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrocarbon Metering Specialist to join our team at HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in metering-related measurement applications to take on a challenging role that involves:

• Conducting, witnessing, and assessing metering and proving activities
• Witnessing and assessing field prover calibration by Water-draw and Master Meter Prover calibration methods in conformance with MPMS. Chap 4 and 12
• Witnessing and assessing metering systems performance, troubleshooting measurement issues presented in meters and related instrumentation available at site
• Evaluating and developing programs for verifying and/or calibrating related instrumentation (Temperature, Pressure, Diff. pressure, etc.)
• Keeping up with new technology development in crude oil measurement to recommend equipment to ensure accurate hydrocarbon measurement
• Liaising with Production, KNPC, and KPC as required to help identify system imbalances and provide effective solutions to reduce or eliminate such discrepancies

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering with at least 20 years' proven experience in metering-related measurement applications
• Knowledge and experience to assess and interact with all types of metering systems, turbine, PD, Orifice, Ultrasonic, and all types of provers
• Knowledge and experience of using various flow computers
• Knowledge and experience to assess and interact with Automatic/Sampling Systems and/or In-Line densitometers
• Knowledge and experience to assess and interact with Automatic Tank Gauging Systems
• The ability to investigate and provide recommendations to correct situations that result in apparent loss/gain
• Familiarity with Oil industry safety standards
