About the Position

We are seeking a High-Level Government Relations Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing relationships with government officials and a proven track record of navigating complex governmental processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Government Relations:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-level government officials, including ministers, key regulators, and decision-makers within Kuwait's power, finance, and investment sectors.
    • Navigate governmental processes and procedures to ensure smooth business operations and compliance with local laws and regulations.
    • Represent the company in discussions with local authorities, stakeholders, and partners to align business goals with government policies and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with stakeholder engagement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Policy Development:
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of government policies and regulations.
    • Advise senior management on policy matters.
    • Develop and implement strategies to influence policy development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating complex governmental processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
