Job Title: HSE Manager
The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors within our organization.
Main Responsibilities- Promote a Culture of Safety: Foster an environment where health, safety, and environmental concerns are integral to every aspect of our operations.
- Risk Management Strategies: Develop and maintain comprehensive risk registers to identify potential hazards and mitigate their impact.
- Hazard Identification and Control: Conduct regular risk assessments to pinpoint and address workplace hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
- Training and Development Initiatives: Provide training programs to equip employees with knowledge on health, safety, and environmental procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions, minimizing the likelihood of future occurrences.
- Performance Metrics and Monitoring: Track and report key performance indicators, such as incident rates and compliance levels, to measure the effectiveness of our HSE initiatives.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is essential.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas/refinery/petrochemical industry, with a proven track record of implementing effective HSE strategies.
- HSE Certifications: Possession of two or more certifications in General Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, ICertOSH, ASSE Certificate in Global Safety Management, or equivalent courses is highly desirable.
