Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager

We offer comprehensive tax management services to help businesses navigate complex tax laws and regulations in the GCC region.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GCC tax laws, regulations, and policies, as well as experience in managing tax functions in a corporate or public accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Conduct thorough analyses of applicable taxes and regulations to provide expert advice on tax compliance, develop and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures, and risk assessment frameworks to ensure effective tax management.
  • Return Preparation and Filing: Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax information and returns, and coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure our tax strategies and policies are implemented accurately per tax compliances.
  • Transfer Pricing and Documentation: Ensure compliance with GCC transfer pricing regulations, including preparing documentation and reports.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions, and other tax-related activities.
  • Internal Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential tax risks and propose risk mitigation strategies. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities for Al Mulla Group.
  • New Regulation Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of new tax regulations on the company's operations and provide recommendations.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, taxation, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
Experience:

10-15 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment in GCC.

  • Multinational Experience: Experience in a multinational corporation or large-scale organization operating across GCC countries.
  • Financial Statement Review: Experienced in performing Trial Balance/General Ledger Review, review of Statutory Financial Statements, including Consolidation Financial Statements.
Skills:
  • Financial Accounting Knowledge: Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting and IFRS.
  • GCC Tax Laws Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GCC tax laws, VAT, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Tax Technology Tools: Familiarity with tax technology tools and software.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is required (both written and spoken).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
