Senior Logistics Supervisor

This position is located in Kuwait, supporting LOGCAP operations. Under the direct supervision of the Movement Control Team Manager, the Senior Logistics Supervisor is responsible for developing logistical plans, policies, and procedures to provide support in logistics areas such as supply chain management, transportation, maintenance, and services.

The Senior Logistics Supervisor recommends and coordinates the logistics support structure to perform logistics functions of the project; coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.

Responsibilities include analyzing problem areas in logistics, coordinating problem resolution or recommending solutions to management, and ensuring desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the workload of Supervisors and Movement Coordinators
  • Evaluate staff performance, comparing objectives and achievements in assessments
  • Coach employees in their professional development and process improvements
  • Direct a professional team encompassing a wide range of functions within the transportation discipline
  • Manage requested, coordinated, and monitored transport schedules
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Must be able to obtain a Kuwait Driving License
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain a USG CAC card
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Logistic field operations may include but not limited to; truck dispatching, import/export, cargo shipping/receiving, transportation, customer service, negotiations, or other related experience
  • Supervisory experience required with regard to shipping and receiving services, military or civilian
Compensation:

$90,000 - $120,000 per year
