Marketing and Brand Development Role

This is a challenging position that involves creating effective brand communication strategies to enhance the company's objectives and build brand equity. The ideal candidate will provide direction for developing and executing product/brand marketing programs to increase sales and improve brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Brand Strategies: Based on consumer insights from research and market trackers, you will develop strategies to improve brand health in Kuwait and international markets.
  • Market Research Analysis: Review market research to anticipate competition, monitor competitors' activities, and translate consumer attitudes into new branding directions.
  • Brand Strategy Communication: Communicate brand strategies to marketing communications, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate and align brand strategy with corporate marketing plans to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Brand Naming and Product Launches: Assess and develop brand names to differentiate products and manage product launches to meet consumer needs and create market differentiation.
  • Program Evaluation and Recommendations: Evaluate and analyze program results and present recommendations for changes in brand strategy to drive business growth.
  • Internal Collaboration and Consumer Research: Improve and manage internal coordination with important departments for timely execution of brand plans and actions, and conduct consumer research when required based on brand issues and opportunities.
  • Brand Tracking and Price Management: Regularly analyze all brand trackers to identify brand issues and opportunities, and implement price revisions to meet agreed gross margin targets for relevant Stock Keeping Units.
  • Annual Brand Planning: Create and implement annual brand plans and activities to meet short- and long-term brand objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: MBA in Marketing preferred, and at least 8 full years of marketing/brand building of FMCG products.
  • Languages and Computer Skills: English & Arabic language is a must, and proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Professional Skills: Understanding of marketing principles and brand building elements, analytical, influencing & negotiation, Execution, Business orientation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing and brand development skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
