Housekeeping Manager

A dynamic leader is sought to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring seamless service delivery and uncompromising quality standards.

  • The successful candidate will supervise and motivate a team to achieve high efficiency and excellent service.
  • Key responsibilities include assigning tasks and schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing training programs for continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems, office equipment, and software applications is essential.

Operational Management

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

  • Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities, coordinating replenishment with procurement as needed.
  • Implement housekeeping procedures and standards aligned with resort policies and five-star hospitality expectations.

Guest Satisfaction & Quality Assurance

This position requires an exceptional ability to handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure compliance with resort standards.

Budget & Cost Control

You will be accountable for developing and managing housekeeping budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.

  • Monitor labor costs and optimize staff scheduling based on occupancy levels.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining service excellence.

Compliance & Safety

Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including fire safety and chemical handling procedures.

  • Implement eco-friendly and sustainable housekeeping practices in line with resort policies.
  • Train staff on emergency procedures and workplace safety measures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • A minimum two years of experience in luxury hotel settings or comparable environments.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred but not required.
