We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as an Help Desk Support Specialist. As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to faculty and staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for assisting with the installation, testing, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Desktop Support: Providing technical support for desktop computers and peripherals, including PC setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Domain Access and Email Registration: Assisting with domain access and email registration for faculty and staff.
  • Active Directory Administration: Administering Active Directory to ensure secure and reliable access to university resources.
  • Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine network maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Grade Quick and Edline Support: Providing technical support for Grade Quick and Edline software applications.
  • Administrator Plus Support: Assisting with Administrator Plus software application support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Experience: A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
  • Training Certificates: Training certificates related to IT Help Desk Support.
  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience administering help desks.
