Fire Captain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Captain to join our team at HealthCare Dynamics Gen. Trading Company W.L.L. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of firefighters in emergency response operations, ensuring the safety of personnel and property, and implementing fire protection programs.

• Lead a team of firefighters in emergency response operations, including firefighting, rescue, and hazardous materials incidents.
• Implement and maintain fire protection programs, including fire inspections and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and goals.
• Provide training and supervision to subordinate employees.
• Respond to emergencies, disasters, and hazardous material spills according to department work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• 5 years of experience with an organized Fire or Emergency Service Department.
• Two years of experience at the level of Company Officer is preferred.
• Must meet training and certification requirements outlined in DOD Manual 6055.06.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management personnel at all levels.
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an understanding of the effect of decisions overall in the company.

Duties will involve the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions, including frequent dust storms and high temperatures up to 130 degrees in the summer months.

Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required.

Must comply with all Fire Department, company safety department, and Army safety policies.

Must be able to respond and work in all types of weather and in less-than-ideal conditions and may have to enter hazardous environments.

Must be able to climb ladders to gain access to upper levels of buildings, or to rescue individuals from burning structures or when trapped.

Must meet or exceed physical requirements contained in the current edition NFPA 1582.
