Assistant Store Leader

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead our dining area team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising and training crew members, as well as assisting with programs that increase top line sales.
The key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Store Manager in controlling labor percentage to standard company expectations.
- Assisting the Store Manager in controlling Cost of Goods (COGS) percentage to standard company expectations.
- Increasing Top Line sales through effective leadership and customer service.
Food Quality
- Ensuring food quality by preparing and cooking food to order, while following proper operational procedures.
- Monitoring food waste levels and resolving food quality issues.
Team Development
- Training new crew members on store operations and policies.
- Elevating crew members to shift leaders, assistant managers, and general managers.
- Communicating effectively with crew members and management to ensure great guest service and throughput.
- Receiving and resolving complaints concerning food and beverages.
- Reviewing schedules and setting up the dining room for maximum aesthetic appeal.
- Supervising staff to ensure proper service and maintaining a clean environment.
- Inspecting crew members to ensure they are wearing proper uniforms.
- Aiding in receiving and resolving complaints regarding guest service.
- Maintaining FOH side-work and cleaning equipment and storage areas according to schedule.
- Ensuring the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of dining room areas, equipment, and fixtures.
- Securing the dining room and other areas at the end of the business day.
- Placing orders and receiving deliveries properly.
- Participating in monthly inventory.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in stores.
- Excellent English skills in speaking and writing.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or Retail industry.
- Related business degree or equivalent professional qualification.
