Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our NOC team, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining situational awareness of all networks and systems under the responsibility of the NOC.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the operation of automation systems comprising the NOC, including network performance and fault management.
  • Perform Enterprise services as required and serve as a single point of contact for all communications needs.
  • Attend and conduct regular meetings to keep all parties apprised of network and communications/data systems changes, improvements, and project progression.
  • Schedule and prioritize individual workload and provide status of tasking to the NOC Chief Watch Officer as is required.
  • Report all incidents and user POC for Service Requests (routine requests for services).
  • Implement all NTOs as distributed to the various levels and ensure accuracy of all data prior to submission for completion.
  • Facilitate problem resolution by monitoring and reviewing tickets, gathering information on outages, and updating service tickets throughout the resolution process.

Requirements
  • Experience in telecommunications sector.
  • Ability to work rotating shift schedules which provide 24 hour day/7 day week coverage.
