About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Inside Plant Telecommunications Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining telecommunications cabling systems within various telecommunication facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install cable racks, conduit, Panduit, and other support structures for cable protection and aesthetics.
  2. Test cable for signal quality, continuity, and availability using ohm meters, toners, and Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR).
  3. Troubleshoot and correct both copper and fiber optic cable problems for lack of continuity, noise, signal loss, and degradation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with fiber optic repair and splicing preferred.
