Job Summary

We are seeking a Front Office Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, providing excellent communication skills to ensure guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Handle guest arrival and departure processes efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures to minimize delays.
  • Respond promptly to in-house guest requests, recording feedback as per standard procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Verify accuracy of guest credit, billing, and financial transactions to maintain trust and confidentiality.
  • Provide daily reports to departments as required, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
  • Complete night reception tasks correctly and accurately according to standard procedures.
  • Quote guests the correct rate based on selling strategy and website to maximize revenue.
  • Answer telephone calls quickly and efficiently, providing professional and courteous service.
  • Maintain observation over guests and property to prevent security alerts and ensure a safe environment.
  • Report maintenance issues to the correct department and verify completion to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Maintain public area and back-of-house areas at all times, correcting deficiencies immediately to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with teams and outsourced business partners to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure Reception desk is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse guests and colleagues.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English; additional languages an advantage to cater to a multicultural clientele.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in front office operations, preferably in a similar quality hotel setting.
  • Friendly, outgoing behavior to support operations and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently to meet deadlines and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong decision-making abilities to work long hours and make informed decisions under pressure.
