About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with corporate strategies and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the Pastry kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the Kitchen operation and administration.
  • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction through effective planning and management.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  1. Minimum 2 years work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards and specifically Pastry experience.
  2. Preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
  4. Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
