Overview:

  • Responsible for leading and managing a warehouse team in Kuwait, overseeing daily operations and supply chain activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Warehouse Operations Management: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, storage, receiving, and issuing.
  2. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to achieve mission requirements, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize supply chain operations.
  3. Safety Management: Implement effective safety management practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and minimizing risks associated with workplace accidents.
  4. Employee Performance Evaluation: Evaluate employee performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and development opportunities to enhance job skills and productivity.
  5. COSIS/Shelf Life Programs: Monitor inventory levels, maintain COSIS/Shelf Life programs, and ensure accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  6. Property Protection: Oversee the safekeeping of Army property, goods, and equipment, adhering to established standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in supply operations, with a focus on warehouse management and supervisory roles.
  • Experience with current USG AIS (GCSS-Army) in an advanced capacity.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with safety data sheets, storage requirements, and hazard class compatibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
