About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Information System professional to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing supply chain activities across various systems, providing customer service, and generating reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage supply chain activities across various systems, ensuring seamless operations and efficient decision-making.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch support for all Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) related activities in accordance with the GCSS-A End User Manual (EUM).
  • Data Entry: Perform and edit data from source documents according to internal quality control checks.
  • Inventory Management: Carry out inventory management activities, including ordering and managing repair parts; dispatching vehicles and equipment; issuing material to work order; returning and recoverable/reparable material to stock.
  • Report Generation: Generate GCSS-A reports as required.
  • Maintenance Activities: Responsible for maintaining notifications; work orders; records of services performed; entering time confirmations for work orders; performing the work order completion; and updating the operations status for a piece of equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure quality control by performing edits based on FEDLOG codes and classes of supply as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year of functional GCSS-A experience is required.
  • Policies and Procedures: Possess experience and comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail in workflow and filing organization activities.
  • System Reports: Knowledgeable of GCSS-A system reports, how to correct discrepancies.
  • Software Proficiency: Must have advanced level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook and other related applications.
  • Communication Skills: Must have advanced written and oral communications skills.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.
Certifications and Clearances
  • Tier 1 NACI: Required for all U.S. Citizens.
  • NIPR Access: Ability to obtain SAAR approval for NIPR access to USG STAMIS required.
  • GCSS-A Certification: Highly preferred.
