Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Commercial Product Development Manager, driving the launch of commercially sourced food and beverage products. The role requires collaboration with third-party manufacturers to expand market presence and revenue through external manufacturing channels.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Product Development:
    • Identify market gaps and growth opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
    • Prepare feasibility studies including concept rationale, costs, and market potential.
    • Coordinate with external manufacturers for product development, testing, and launch.
    • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
    • Assess and select co-manufacturers or private label vendors.
  2. Internal Collaboration & Project Coordination:
    • Act as project manager for product initiatives using tools like MS Project.
    • Lead review meetings with stakeholders to track progress.
    • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams on contracts and costs.
  3. Marketing Integration:
    • Translate consumer insights into product ideas.
    • Work with marketing teams to position and support products.
    • Assist in packaging, storytelling, and claims substantiation.
  4. Logistics & Cost Optimization:
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize logistics and costs.
    • Explore sourcing options to reduce lead times and risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology, or Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in FMCG/Food product development, with experience in co-manufacturing or private label management.
  • Proven success in launching products through third-party partnerships.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
