Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, with at least 3 years of experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting. As a Pasty Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide range of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. You will need to have a strong understanding of baking techniques and be able to create unique and delicious desserts that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare various types of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods.
  • Develop new recipes and menu items while keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Ensure all baked goods are prepared according to company standards.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in the kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to develop cohesive menus.
