Job Title: Track Vehicle Specialist

The role of the Track Vehicle Specialist involves troubleshooting and repairing track vehicles identified on a density list. The individual is responsible for identifying and resolving electrical, hydraulic, power train, and other malfunctions, with the ability to expedite repairs to 10/20 standards. They may also provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians.

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in track vehicle maintenance operations, supervision, inspection, QA, or related areas.
  • Superb mechanical skills, as well as master knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of Army/Marine Corps maintenance technical publications related to Track Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Experience working on various track vehicles, including M1 Abrams, M2/M3 Bradley, M88, M113 class vehicles, and others.
  • This role requires a physical rating of heavy.

The selected candidate will be responsible for testing faulty equipment, applying comprehensive knowledge of functional operation of track vehicles and systems to diagnose cause(s) of malfunctions, apply repairs and solve complex problems.
