Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Compliance Monitoring Programme, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and experience in conducting safety/compliance audits and inspections. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Support compliance monitoring, including feedback to management to ensure corrective action as necessary;
- Monitor activities carried out under Part 145 are being performed in accordance with approved procedures;
- Monitor that all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the contract;
- Monitor continued compliance with requirements of Part 145 and Part M;
- Accompany competent authority auditors throughout an audit to ensure the organization is aware of any findings raised during the audit;
- Be jointly accountable for the Part 145 quality policy, plan, and audit procedures;
- Share responsibility for maintaining the currency of the MOE;
- Deputise for Quality Manager within Maintenance and Engineering functions in Kuwait;
- Conduct Compliance investigations as required;
- Maintain regulatory compliance with EASA regulation in accordance with the QMS;
- Strive to deliver excellence in accordance with the Kuwait vision and strategy;
- Manage and issue maintenance authorisations for Part 145;
- Ensure effective corrective and preventative follow-up actions from completed audits.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Quality Manager in support of the Compliance Monitoring Programme;
- Ability to hold the EASA Quality Manager Form 4 as approved by the CAA for Part M, P145;
- Ability to hold the appropriate security clearance required for the role;
- Capable line manager;
- Active team player with the ability to work collaboratively;
- Sound knowledge of the organisation's operations, procedures, and activities;
- Broad aviation technical knowledge, including considerable experience within Engineering and Maintenance department;
- Extensive knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) and completion of appropriate QMS training;
- Experience in conducting safety/compliance audits and inspections;
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internal and external to the organization;
- Human Factors training;
- Safety Management Systems;
- EWIS; Fuel Tank Safety.
