Are you a seasoned safety professional looking to take on a challenging role in the Oil and Gas industry?

  • This position involves championing a strong Safety culture, behaviors, and engagement activities across various phases of major Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Safety Champion

Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors, and engagement activities.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with PMC Process Managers, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • EPC/FEED Phase Management: Report to the PMC Process Manager during EPC / FEED Engineering and Procurement phases, and work under their direction to ensure compliance with Contract obligations.
  • Construction Phase Support: Report to the Construction Manager during Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up phases, providing technical guidance and support as needed.

Main Objectives:

  • Safety Culture Development: Develop and maintain a strong Safety culture that promotes safe working practices and minimizes risks.
  • Contractor Management: Ensure the quality and accuracy of EPC / FEED Contractor's Loss Prevention Engineering activities, reviewing and approving their work to ensure compliance with Contract obligations.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide PMC Process Safety and Loss Prevention performance data and reports to PMC Management and the Owner, enabling informed decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant Experience: BSc/BEng in a relevant Engineering discipline and relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with FEED and EPC phases of major Engineering projects, knowledge of Fire & Safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, API, international standards).
