We are looking for a skilled Hospitality Expert to take orders and provide quality service to guests by ensuring prompt and courteous service following procedures and which exceeds the minimum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers when they arrive at a restaurant and introduce them to the menu.
  • Anounce daily or seasonal menu specials and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and pricing.
  • Take customers' orders for food and drink by writing them on a ticket or entering them into a tablet.
  • Pass customer orders along to kitchen staff for preparation and prepare drinks and serve them to customers.
  • Collect food orders from the kitchen, verify that they are correct, and serve them to customers.
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meals and process orders for additional courses if necessary.
  • Remove used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables and prepare cheques for customers.
  • Process cash and credit card payments and return change to customers if necessary.
  • Maintain familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information and work in a team environment.
  • Collaborate with managers and wait staff daily to learn about menu changes and discuss upcoming reservations and customer needs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one-year experience as a food server within a restaurant or hotel.
  • Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions and possess clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Any related customer service/oriented experience will be considered and must be able to work in a team environment.
