About the Job:
Job Position:

This role is designed for individuals who possess strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic intrusion alarm systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test systems regularly to identify potential issues and prevent failures.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on industry developments.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Requirements: Education/Certifications:
    • An associate's degree and two years of experience or a high school diploma are essential.
    • Must hold a valid registration, license, or certification issued by a state or local authority.
    • Be qualified by an organization listed by a nationally recognized testing laboratory for the servicing of fire alarm systems.
    • Able to obtain a host nation driver's license.
  • Experience:
    • Two to six years of experience depending on educational level.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and needs.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, thinking critically and creatively.
    • Familiarity with basic computer software and hardware.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, with temperatures often exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and outdoor environments with very harsh conditions (hot, dry, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Medium work, involving exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • May require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where there could be potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
