Job Summary

You will be responsible for driving the revenue growth of the assigned sales team. This entails hiring, onboarding, and operationally managing a team of sales executives, as well as driving individual and team revenue targets. Throughout the sales lifecycle, you will work closely with internal teams responsible for sales operations, solutions delivery, partner management, and external vendors/partners to propose and sell customized IT solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation through self-performance and team efforts, focusing on hunting for new opportunities through professional networks, cold calling, and leveraging other methods to reach decision makers.
  • Work closely with clients to develop solutions, identify technologies, and position IHorizons as the prime contender to win deals.
  • Manage the bidding process in cooperation with the bidding team, ensuring the accuracy and quality of proposals and bid packages until deal closure.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, providing senior management with input on discounts or scope changes during negotiations.
  • Review contracts with internal and external parties, ensuring proper handover of closed deals to the delivery team.
  • Visit major customers regularly to strengthen relations and establish business opportunities, building strong relationships with technical decision makers.
  • Maintain CRM usage by the assigned sales team, ensuring all departments understand customer requirements and respond accordingly.
  • Generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts, reporting regularly to management and supplying market intelligence about client, competitor, and partner activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business studies, computer sciences, or a related field; Master's degree highly desirable.
  • 10-12 years of post-qualification experience, including 5-8 years in client-facing sales roles and 3-4 years in team management positions with a team size of at least 4-5 members.
  • Experience in managing frontline sales teams, customized IT solution sales, and sales within the digital space is mandatory.
  • A track record of consistent success in early career sales experience in customized software solutions selling is essential.
