Job Description

This position involves data analysis, data management, and communication of findings. The successful candidate will work closely with project staff and partners to develop data analysis methodologies, statistical software, and governance indicators.

Data Analysis and Management

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop databases, create dashboards, and visualize data to facilitate decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and develop solutions.

Indicator Analysis and Benchmarking

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of anti-corruption, Rule of Law, and governance indicators.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in these indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for stakeholders based on data-driven insights.

Survey Development and Data Collection

  • Design and implement surveys to gather data on governance indicators.
  • Analyze survey results, applying statistical techniques to draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Communicate findings through reports, briefs, and presentations.

Capacity Development and Knowledge Sharing

  • Provide technical guidance and training to project staff and partners on data analysis and governance indicators.
  • Participate in capacity-building events, sharing expertise and best practices.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensure all data analyses and reports meet UNDP's quality assurance standards and data protection policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging practices in governance measurement and anti-corruption research.
