Job Description

This position plays a critical role in the support of LOGCAP operations, requiring expertise in transportation management and logistics. The Traffic Management Specialist will work under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor to provide movement control support for surface/air/sea cargo and personnel transport through the U.S. Military transportation system.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process and validate Transportation Movement Requests (TMR) and Standard Transportation Movement Requests (STMR) for bus and truck assets, ensuring timely transportation of personnel, cargo, and equipment from origin to destination.
  2. Submit completed TMRs to the Movement Control Battalion (MCB) for processing and provide regular updates to customers on TMR status.
  3. Maintain schedules and priorities for Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  4. Prepare daily situation reports (SITREPS) for higher headquarters, covering MCT operations and providing insights into logistics performance.
  5. Analyze and report on movement control and transportation operations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CAC eligibility and ability to pass a National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; one year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
  • Kuwait Driver's License necessary.
