Job Description:

The Head Chef is responsible for implementing and following culinary standards, overseeing kitchen operations, and maintaining quality control.

This role involves planning, controlling, and directing the food preparation process, as well as managing daily kitchen operations and a culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent time management, and good financial management skills.

They should also be able to motivate and lead a team from the front, develop and manage a multi-unit operation, and prioritize controls to ensure top-quality products and equipment.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience with vendor development, equipment sourcing, and raw materials finalization.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Planning and controlling food preparation processes
  • Managing kitchen operations and culinary teams
  • Developing and implementing culinary excellence standards
  • Ensuring sanitation, maintenance, and safety standards are followed
  • Training and supervising kitchen personnel
  • Standardizing recipes and initiating research in the F&B industry

  • Ability to innovate and develop new ideas

A degree in culinary science or hospitality management is preferred. The candidate should also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and overall 8 years of experience.
