Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, creating accurate monthly reports.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for purchase orders, stock transfers, and deliveries.
  • Confirm the received stock matches the ordered items.
  • Keep detailed records of all inventory transactions and movements, including pricing, purchases, and movements among warehouses and locations.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Update stock information on the computer system.
  • Implement and develop inventory control procedures and practices.
  • Perform a daily compilation of the existing stock and raise stock discrepancies.
  • Support the inventory entry process interchangeably.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl, Zoho Inventory).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of inventory control strategies and best practices.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
