The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all laundered items meet established quality standards before being released to customers. This role includes inspecting garments and linens for cleanliness, damage, proper folding, packaging, and adherence to client specifications and industry hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect cleaned garments, linens, and other textiles for stains, tears, damage, and overall cleanliness.

Ensure items are properly folded, pressed, and packaged according to company and customer standards.

Verify that laundry processes meet hygiene and quality control protocols.

Document inspection findings and report quality issues to supervisors or production teams.

Assist in identifying root causes of quality defects and recommend improvements.

Monitor production areas for adherence to quality and safety standards.

Work closely with laundry staff to maintain consistent product quality.

Perform random audits of processed items.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in inspection and production areas.

Train new team members on quality standards and inspection procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a laundry facility.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects quickly.

Basic understanding of textile types and laundering processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Working Conditions:

Physically demanding role requiring standing, bending, and lifting.

Work in a hot, humid, or noisy environment depending on the facility.

Shift work may be required, including weekends and holidays.
