Position: Active Directory ESM Systems Engineer III

This role provides engineering and management support for all Enterprise systems, focusing on enterprise-class infrastructure in the RCC-SWA. Responsibilities include optimization, administration, documentation, and support of systems such as Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM, WSUS, SQL, ADFS, MIM/FIM, DNS, OCSP, PKI, PowerShell scripting, and supporting enterprise initiatives in a virtualized environment. The position involves mentoring team members and acting as the primary escalation point for support issues, reporting to the section team lead. Broad enterprise knowledge and hands-on experience are essential.

Additional Details

This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and tuition reimbursement. Candidates must meet all host country legal requirements to work there.

Responsibilities

  1. Support global enterprise initiatives for Active Directory and Windows File Services, including root cause analysis and problem management.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, enterprise tools, and third-party utilities.
  3. Coordinate patch management, Windows updates, application packaging, and system imaging.
  4. Create and maintain system documentation and improve existing processes.
  5. Troubleshoot servers and infrastructure, assess networking needs, and provide solutions under pressure.
  6. Maintain excellent customer service and communication skills.
  7. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple complex tasks.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Must adhere to DoD 8570.01 standards, maintaining at least one baseline and one computing environment certification such as CCNP Security, CASP+, GCED, GCIH, CISA, CISSP, or Microsoft certifications like Azure or MCSA/MCSE.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing enterprise-level systems including Active Directory, SCCM, WSUS, SQL, MIM/FIM, ADFS, DNS, and PKI in a WAN environment.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented environment, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting, with a work environment primarily indoors.
