Your day to day

We are in search of a Sales Manager who will oversee and implement sales activities, including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies.

People
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Represent the hotel in various events and exhibitions.
  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips for corporate clients.
  • Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and close deals.
  • Coach and train sales team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and strategies.
  • Develop relationships within the community to expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Financial
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Align sales strategies with hotel business strategies to meet goals.
  • Handle Corporate, Travel Agency, and MICE business segments.
  • Identify new markets and opportunities to increase sales.
  • Support operational aspects of business bookings, including proposals and contracts.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Manager on rate negotiations.
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Guest Experience
  • Provide high-quality service to customers at all times.
  • Support service and relationship strategies to foster customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development to support sales efforts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and customer needs to drive growth.
Responsible Business
  • Enhance the hotel's and brand's reputation locally.
  • Prioritize guest safety with minimal disruptions.
  • Advise clients on reducing waste and energy use to minimize environmental impact.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
What We Need From You
  • Proven success in a similar role and environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business acumen and familiarity with tools.
  • Higher degree in Hospitality with 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel; knowledge of Opera is required.
  • Experience supervising and managing sales teams and projects.
  • Fluency in local language(s).
