Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Environmental Inspector to join our team, based in Kuwait. This role is responsible for inspections across various elements of the client's project related to the environmental field. We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Assisting in conducting audits for environmental and sustainability compliance on-site, taking into consideration understanding of the implementation of green certification systems, sustainable site operations, and client-specific environmental standards and policies.
  • Aiding in the conducting of material approvals for sustainability, on-site audits and guiding the supervision teams against sustainability and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Preparing environmental reports on sites of non-compliance and supporting site teams on complying with remediation actions, if any.
  • Involving in site auditing, reporting, and provision of reports to the Client.
  • Supporting the wider supervision team in reviewing submissions by others and ensuring that the Client's sustainability requirements and environmental aspects on site follow the Kingdom's regulations.
  • Collaborating with KEO teams and the Client's specialist team.
  • Writing reports associated with progress and site audit compliance associated both with environmental and sustainability/materials compliance aspects as well as letters.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years of relevant experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in an Environmental field or equivalent. Bi-Lingual (English/Arabic) candidates will be considered favourably as the client environment has departments where Arabic is spoken and documents are issued in Arabic as well.
