Our Client, a leading FMCG company in Kuwait, is seeking an experienced Assistant Senior Accounts Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounts management tasks, including financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The role also involves managing accounts receivable and payable, auditing, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Senior Accounts Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure transparent financial analysis and budgeting systems are in place and effectively managed.
  2. Adhere to internal and external audit requirements.
  3. Assess banking operations from the company's perspective.
  4. Interact daily with all departments as a custodian of the business.
  5. Adopt a hands-on approach with flexibility to carry out daily tasks and meet deadlines.
  6. Process normal and management payrolls.
  7. Handle the complete process of payables, general ledger, assets, and accounts receivable.
  8. Finalize trial balances and month-end closing activities.
  9. Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, demonstrating excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  10. Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes.
  11. Implement changes in accounting processes to align with IFRS and current standards.
  12. Manage the annual external audit process for timely and accurate financial statements.
  13. Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports, supporting finance transactions, inquiries, audits, and reporting.
  14. Prepare the annual ZAKAT declaration report, demonstrating expertise in ZAKAT, VAT, and WHT.
  15. Conduct evaluations and develop plans for the upcoming year.
  16. Manage the accounts team effectively to facilitate smooth business operations.
  17. Process online transfers and submit for management approval.
  18. Audit employee appraisals, reimbursements, salary adjustments, contracts, and insurance claims.
  19. Oversee month-end closure activities and verify all accounting transactions.
  20. Handle payroll costing and provisions for indemnity, managing the HRMS module.
  21. Perform duties assigned by the line supervisor and participate in cross-training.
  22. Train team members for succession planning and cover during absences.
  23. Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable in the company and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
