To provide specialized services for the diagnosis and management of disease under the scope of care of the Urology Department.

Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Performing the professional duties of a Registrar in accordance with the delineation of the scope of care and PRIVILEGES as recommended by the Head of the department and approved by the Credentialing committee.
  2. Performing duties in the outpatient clinic according to the department and Taiba hospital regulations.
  3. Performing the approved procedures according to the PRIVILEGES.
  4. Providing consultation services to the inpatient and outpatient services in his/her area of expertise.
  5. Providing the needed urology care to the patients in the urology clinic.
  6. Sharing in the on-call duties as per the duty schedule according to departmental and hospital needs.
  7. Assuring performing urology documentation and charting in a legible and professional way.
  8. Working closely with colleagues.
  9. Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues and patients.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  1. Undertakes the administrative duties assigned by the Head of the department or CMO.
  2. Participates in all mandatory departmental activities and serves in departmental and hospital committees and other administrative functions, as required.
  3. Assists the department in the development and implementation of techniques and practices that help maximize the utilization of all resources within the department and across Taiba Hospital.
  4. Abides by the current hospital and medical staff bylaws, all relevant rules, regulations, and policies and keeps updated concerning any changes that might occur.
  5. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  6. Participates in self-and others' education, training, and development as applicable.
