Business Analyst Airline IT Systems
Jazeera Airways is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our IT department as a functional expert in airline systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and technology, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of airline-specific IT systems.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of airline operations, strong analytical skills, and expertise in functional areas such as reservations, flight and ground operations, departure control, revenue management and Finance/HR ERP.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all functional aspects of airline IT systems.

• Understand and document business requirements, processes, and workflows related to airline operations.

• Provide guidance on best practices and system capabilities to optimize business outcomes

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure effective system integration and functionality.

• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to align systems with business needs.

• Support the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.

• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives for business users.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.

• Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects related to airline systems.

• Ensure project deliverables meet functional requirements and align with business goals.

• Provide subject matter expertise during the design, development, and testing phases.

• Assist in resolving functional issues and provide second-level support for airline systems.

• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential challenges.

• Collaborate with technical teams to address system defects and enhancements.

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in airline IT systems.

• Recommend process improvements and technology upgrades to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• PMP certification.

• 5 year experience in IT Company working on aviation systems or as an IT Business Analyst in a commercial airline

• Understanding aviation business dynamics

• Strong understanding of airline operations and business processes.

• Hands on working experience on various IT tools and techniques

• Contract management with outsource software & hardware vendors, consultants, and other third party IT service providers

• Proficiency in documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

• Project Management

• Experience with system integration and implementation projects
