Atopic Dermatitis is one of those areas where Lilly continues to provide innovative solutions. The AD Portfolio Brand Manager will be responsible for building on this great momentum through a relentless focus to make our solutions the obvious first choice for our target patients in AD.

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading the AD portfolio's strategic direction, development, planning and co-ordination of the brand activities as well as launch preparations across Gulf. The individual will need to work closely and in strong collaboration with key internal cross functional stakeholders across IBU and local, a key priority focus will be to engage external stakeholders including key thought leaders.

There will also be a series of leadership opportunities for various related projects, for example Peer to Peer meetings & large face to face congresses. The successful individual will also work very closely with the brand team to ensure cohesion across the brand. Success will be achieved through building a Team Lilly culture of trust, empowerment and accountability across office and field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accelerate Progress: Drive initiatives to enhance customer beliefs and influence prescribing behaviors within priority accounts.
  2. Identify Barriers: Recognize and address obstacles to deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure the successful execution of the Customer Plan/Operational Plan.
  3. Launch Readiness: Lead the cross-function launch readiness.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, PRA, Medical, OCE, etc.) to ensure brand and project success.
  5. Seek Synergies: Identify commonalities and opportunities for synergies to reduce workload and maximize efficiencies.
  6. Enhance Customer Experience: Develop solutions that improve the customer experience through digital channels.
  7. Lead with Integrity: Uphold integrity and compliance in all activities. Model leadership, and in line with the Team Lilly Framework and mindset, with a particular focus on the common purpose and expectations- Include, Innovative, Accelerate, Deliver.

Brand Strategy Execution:

  1. Understand, anticipate, and adapt to changing market dynamics and their impact on brand.
  2. Support Customer Plan Development, in line with Global Brand Strategy and as part of the annual Integrated Planning Approach Framework.
  3. Model engagement with utilization of Global/IBU content.
  4. Actively lead or participate on tactic/channel planning and execution to deliver on our prioritized projects as well as business plan goals.
  5. Analyze complex problems and situations, provide logical recommendations, and lead any required action planning.

Launch Readiness Preparation:

  1. Create comprehensive launch plans that outline key milestones, timelines and deliverables.
  2. Collaborate with marketing, sales, regulatory, access and pricing, supply chain and other departments to align on launch objectives and ensure all teams are prepared for the launch.
  3. Monitor the progress of launch activities, identify potential barriers, and adjust plans as needed to stay on track.
  4. Organize and lead regular launch readiness sessions to gain leadership alignment, address gaps, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and prepared.

Support for Field-Based Personnel:

  1. Engage appropriate field-based colleagues in the implementation of marketing tactics and "Hotspot" strategy.
  2. Develop partnerships and engagement with sales representatives and sales leaders.
  3. Train and coach the sales forces, in close collaboration with sales management, in the future to equip them for optimal implementation.
  4. Attend sales meetings to provide direction as necessary.
  5. Maintain excellent communication with customer facing teams.

Thought Leader Development:

  1. Co-own Thought Leader strategy.
  2. Develop strong business relationships with thought leaders and key accounts.
  3. Periodically meet with key Thought Leaders and manage speaker trainings.

Marketing and Medical Interactions:

  1. Understand and lead appropriate Marketing and Medical interactions.
  2. Understand and provide commercial input in the clinical development strategy for the brand.
  3. Develop customer and market perspectives with Medical.

Brand Operations Management and Oversight:

  1. Ensure that brand team activities meet timelines for execution as laid out in project- and operational plans.
  2. Responsible for tracking/management of individual project budgets and associated operating expenses.
  3. Responsible for understanding, implementation, and adherence to company policies, processes, and external obligations, as applicable.
  4. Ensure that all marketing processes, documents, and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with compliance guidelines.
  5. Work closely with the OCE team to design the Customer Touchpoint Journey, aiming to optimize customer engagement opportunities through an omnichannel strategy.
  6. Maximize the utilization of the IBU content factory & best practices and ensure utilization of ready-made tactics and solutions from Global and the IBU in line with a 'Create Once, Maximize Reuse'-mindset, especially for IVA, email, 3rd party SOA and eP2P.

Job Requirements:

  1. Brand marketing and Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. Demonstrated track record of delivering results.
  3. Strong strategic thinking / problem solving, and execution excellence.
  4. Experience in launching new brands or new indications is a plus.
  5. Immunology experience is a plus.
  6. This role requires deep competency in brand strategy and execution:
  7. Technical marketing knowledge preferable.
  8. Technical knowledge of local health policy is preferable.
  9. Strong project management skills.
  10. Self-motivated and able to prioritize.
  11. Strong team player.
  12. Enthusiastic- ability to energize and motivate others.
  13. A solid compliance mindset, demonstrated integrity on the job, and ability to lead others in producing high quality, compliant work.
