Position Overview

The Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) with (MMEA-Qatar/Kuwait) will collaborate with our Partner community and provide holistic and outstanding experience to customers. The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for driving new opportunities with and through our partner network and growing the partner landscape.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through best sales practices, training, and support.
  2. Establish contact, business development, cultivation, product positioning proposal, presentation, and closing sales with the channels.
  3. Work collaboratively with Channel Account Managers and Regional Account Managers to build existing partner relationships.
  4. Recruit partners to the Trend Partner program to identify and target partner organizations as new prospects.
  5. Identify areas of opportunity to secure additional partners to become part of Trend Micro's Affinity partner program in the specific region.
  6. Engage with partners at all levels to increase awareness of Trend Micro's value proposition, including partner principles, sales, marketing procurement, and support teams. Proactively engage and drive opportunities with Trend Micro Affinity partners.
  7. Implement channel partner sales strategy, meet sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction in a manner consistent with company policy and goals.
Secondary Responsibilities
  1. Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars, as required.
  2. Participate in the planning and execution of programs designed to promote Trend Micro's activities.
  3. Document and regularly maintain all relevant information in Salesforce.
Experience
  1. Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the IT sales industry preferred.
  2. Minimum 2 years of channel sales experience with an understanding of the Cybersecurity market preferred.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimal supervision and provide detailed technical knowledge of Trend Micro software products.
  4. Possess good business acumen in channel sales management with a deep motivation for achieving channel sales targets.
  5. Ability to close business while achieving a high level of partner satisfaction.
