Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant. The role is located in Salmiya. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting the accounting team, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional tasks include participating in audits and assisting with the implementation of internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial accounting and report preparation
  • Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Strong skills in bank statement reconciliation and budget preparation
  • Knowledge of compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with accounting software and tools is an advantage
