Role Overview
We have a challenging opportunity for a Senior Consultant in our Revenue Management and Risk Advisory practice. Senior consultants work in a client-facing role, conducting Revenue assurance and Fraud Management reviews for telecom operators in the Middle East. They help clients address revenue, operational, and strategic risks, working in teams to deliver high-quality project execution in Communications and other industries. Typical projects include transaction data analytics reviews, revenue assurance and fraud controls assessments, function maturity benchmarking, and process improvement recommendations.
Senior consultants demonstrate technical expertise and industry knowledge, staying updated on current trends. They build strong relationships with client personnel, understanding their perspectives and becoming the go-to person for relevant issues. Their work is expected to be of outstanding quality.
Senior consultants also contribute to business development, such as preparing proposals and identifying leads, and may participate in thought leadership activities. They may coach and support junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute engagements related to Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, and Business Processes independently.
- Review business processes—product configuration, sales, onboarding, network, billing, payments—and identify areas for revenue leakage reduction or improvement.
- Identify revenue-related risks and recommend controls, developing risk and control matrices.
- Assess control maturity, providing improvement recommendations.
- Design, test, and debug RAFM controls; create Business Requirement Documents for control development.
- Perform controls testing on large transactional datasets using tools like SQL, WEDO, Subex.
- Use dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) for KPI reporting related to RAFM.
- Coordinate with business and technology teams for data gathering and issue resolution.
- Create reports such as control performance, maturity, and assessment reports, as well as policies and procedures.
- Support proposal writing, business development, and thought leadership initiatives.
Desired Profile
- Experience in consulting (preferably Big 4) in Revenue Assurance.
- Experience working with RAFM tools like Subex or Mobilium.
- Proficiency in developing dashboards in Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong data analysis skills using analytical tools and advanced Excel.
- Industry experience in Telecom; knowledge of Banking, Utilities, or E-commerce is a plus.
- Data visualization skills in Tableau or Power BI preferred.
- Knowledge of digital technologies, R, Python, RPA is advantageous.
