We are looking for a highly skilled Network and Security Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network and security infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, configure, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and other security systems.


• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.


• Implement and maintain security policies, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.


• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and audits.


• Manage user access, permissions, and endpoint protection.


• Maintain documentation of network architecture and security configurations.


• Work closely with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure secure operations.


• Stay up to date with the latest security threats and best practices.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• 3–5+ years of experience in network administration and IT security.


• Strong knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), routing, switching (Aruba, Huawei) and VPNs.


• Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection platforms.


• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).


• Experience with cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.


• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
